Rules & Policies

Our rules help keep the park quiet, safe, and enjoyable for overnight, weekly, and extended-stay guests. Please review them before your arrival.

Rules Enforcement

Our goal is to provide a quiet, safe camping environment. We have rules in our park, and we enforce them. Upon registration, you will be given a site map with our policies. We will point out a few, but it is important that you read all the rules so there is no question about what we expect of you or what you can expect from us.

For your safety and security, Campfire RV Park is under 24-hour video surveillance.

Visitors

Family and friends are welcome to visit. Please inform us if you are expecting guests so we can register them. For your privacy and security, guests are not allowed at your site unless you notify us in advance.

There is a maximum of six people per site, including those staying at your site and your visitors. For everyone’s safety, we need an accurate count of people and pets in case of an emergency or evacuation.

Arrival Times

We pride ourselves on maintaining a quiet, relaxed camping experience. If you made a reservation online, please call or text 940-304-7836, or visit the office to check in upon arrival.

Quiet Time

9:00 PM to 7:00 AM daily.

Cancellations & Refunds

Refunds depend on the timing of your cancellation request. Changing the dates of a reservation is considered a cancellation of the existing reservation and is subject to a $25 rebooking fee.

For overnight and weekly guests:

Two or more weeks prior: Full refund minus the $25 cancellation fee.
One week prior: 50% of the reservation is forfeited.
Less than one week prior: The full reservation is forfeited.

For extended-stay guests:

15 days or more notice: 50% of the deposit is refunded.
14 days or less notice: 25% of the deposit is refunded.

Fire Rules & Campfires

Due to regular drought conditions and burn bans, campfires and wood burning of any kind are not allowed outside the designated campfire area. You are welcome to bring a charcoal or propane grill. Propane fire pits are permitted on pads.

Parking

Please park vehicles only at your assigned site. There is a two-vehicle maximum in addition to your RV. Sites that appear vacant may be reserved and may not be used for additional parking.

Parking in a vacant RV site will result in being charged the daily rate and/or having the vehicle towed.

Courtesy

Please respect your neighbors by keeping music and television volume to a minimum. Running generators is not permitted.

Onerous, noxious, or offensive activity; excessive noise; abusive language; interference with other guests; disturbing the peace; and willful or careless destruction of property in any manner are prohibited.

Pets

Non-aggressive dogs are welcome. Pets are allowed at RV sites, but not in any building. When outside, pets must be on a leash no longer than six feet and under the owner’s control at all times. Campfire RV Park is not liable for injury or death to pets that wander away from designated areas.

Outside pens are not allowed. Pets may be unleashed inside the dog park. Please clean up after your pet at your site, while walking, and in the dog park. If your pet is hostile, disruptive, or frequently barking, you will be asked to leave the campground.

Animals larger than 65 pounds are not allowed unless pre-approved by management. Service dogs are permitted. There is a two-pet maximum per site.

Trash

Dumpsters are located near the entrance. Please bag and tie trash tightly before placing it in the dumpster. Please maintain and leave a clean RV site.

Safety

The speed limit is 7 MPH. Please watch for children.

Pop-up tents, tarps, window A/C units, clotheslines, ropes, fences, and wires are not permitted. Firearms, paintball guns, BB guns, pellet guns, air guns, slingshots, fireworks, and weapons of any kind are not permitted.

Appearance

Campfire RV Park limits vehicle age for extended stays longer than two weeks. Without prior approval, an RV more than 10 years old is not permitted for an extended stay. The RV must be in good condition, washed regularly, and well maintained.

Management must give prior approval before anything is erected or built. RV sites must remain neat and orderly at all times. Storage of material of any kind under a vehicle is strictly prohibited. The site must remain free of trash, debris, and unused items other than a patio table, chairs, BBQ grill, umbrella, and awning.

Campfire RV Park reserves the right to request the removal of any item at any time, or to remove or disassemble anything built or erected on your site without permission.

Additional Information

All rules are intended for the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all guests.

You must be 21 or older to rent an RV site.
Smoking is permitted only at your designated RV site. Public areas must remain smoke-free. Please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.
Bicycle riding is allowed only during daylight hours.
Only one camping unit is allowed per site. Tents are not permitted on RV sites.
We are on a fragile septic system. Do not flush paper towels, diapers, baby wipes, feminine products, condoms, needles, food, grease, or anything other than RV-safe toilet paper. This also applies to public restrooms.
Proper leveling blocks must be used to level your RV.
The sewer connection must have a sewer collar or donut attached to prevent sewer gases from escaping. The tank must remain closed.

For Our Extended-Stay Guests

Steps must be the right size for your RV and may not be handmade.
Pressure regulators are recommended for your water connection. The park assumes no responsibility for issues beyond your meter.
Your sewer and/or gray-water hose must have a sewer collar or donut attached to prevent sewer gases from escaping. The tank must remain closed.
All mechanical repairs to vehicles or RVs must be performed off park premises unless prior arrangements are made with management.
Semi-trucks, flatbed or other trailers, three- or four-wheelers, and boats must be stored off park premises unless approved by management.
No more than two storage containers are allowed at your site. They must be stored under the RV and maintain a neat appearance.
Clotheslines are not permitted.
Holiday decorations are permitted but must be removed within one week after the holiday.
Window A/C units, skirting, pop-up tents, trampolines, and swimming pools are not permitted.
Under no circumstances should you consider yourself a tenant with a lease.

Guest Acknowledgment

We sincerely appreciate your business. Campfire RV Park and its management assume no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or loss from any cause. Campfire RV Park and its management are not responsible for injury to persons or pets, or for loss of or damage to personal property caused by fire, theft, accident, or acts of God.

Management reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone, at any time, for any reason, including the condition and/or type of RV. It is our goal to provide a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for our guests at Campfire RV Park.
